More than 57,6 million liters of wine was exported, with more than 80% of it in bottles.
The main export is earmarked for Russia. The rise here is 20% on an annual basis. Other markets for the Bulgarian wine are Poland, Britain, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Germany, said Koev.
He also noted the recent upward trend in vine growing in Bulgaria.
Bulgaria will set up a national enoteca, Agriculture and Food Minister Miroslav Naydenov said in the southern city of Plovdiv.
The enoteca will be situated on the ground floor of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, he specified.
According to the minister Bulgaria deserves to have a national enoteca.
โA few days ago wonderful Bulgarian wines were exhibited in Paris.
Bulgaria should have self-confidence that its wines are good. Everyone who tasted the wines presented in France said they are not worse than the French ones,โ said the minister.
