Water district celebrates 34th year of service

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The City of San Fernando Water District celebrated its 34th year of operations here by recognizing its employees who have given 20 and 30 years of service.
Water District general manager Jorge Gumba told Sun.Star Pampanga that the water utility reaffirms its commitment to serve its concessionaires in the City of San Fernando into a whole new level.
The institution celebrated its anniversary in a simple program held at its main office and was highlighted by the awarding of service awardees who served the water utility for 20 and 30 years.
The loyalty awardees (30 years) include Marialuz Dizon, Danilo Magtoto and Willy Quiambao; while those who rendered 20 years in service are Christopher Bean, Helen Cacho, Sopronio Castro, Ronnel Fajardo, Fortunato Guevarra, Porfirio Guevarra, Noelito Guinto, Eric Joseph Jabor, Wilson Lacanlale, Wilfredo Lacson, Ariel Mutuc, Benedicto Pamintuan Jr. and Sacdalan Domingo.
The awardees were given cash incentives and trophies, according to Gumba, adding they are urging their personnel to continue helping the water utility firm and concessionaires through dedicated service.
Gumba also mentioned that the City of San Fernando Water District has registered remarkable gains in the past years in terms of facilities and number of concessionaires.
“We are now finalizing plans to better serve the people of the City of San Fernando through an effective expansion program,” he said.
