Rotary Club ground breaks walkway project

CLARK FREEPORT — The Rotary Club of Balibago led Sunday the groundbreaking ceremonies for a new walkway that is expected to service employees coming from Mabalacat town.
Rotary Club of Balibago president Roger Santos said the project is part of the social responsibility and infrastructure program of their group.
The concreting of the walkway located at Mabalacat Gate is expected to benefit hundreds of employees and students Inside the Clark Freeport.
The groundbreaking was attended by Clark Investors and Locators Association president Lito Mercado, transport leaders in Mabalacat and member Rotarians. The group will fully finance the construction of the project.
Santos said their group is conducting dialogues with officials of Balibago for the construction of a welcome arc and a series of beautification projects here.
They will also open partnerships with other sectoral groups in this Freeport for the implementation of livelihood programs with the help of the Technology Resource Center. (Ian Ocampo Flora)
