Pampanga receives relief goods from Capiz

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The Capitol on Sunday received assorted relief goods from the Provincial Government of Capiz for residents in areas of Pampanga that are still submerged in floodwaters.
The donation consisted boxes of canned goods, 57 sacks of rice, noodles, dried fish, clothes and other essentials.

Vice Governor Esteban Contreras said the Bulig Capiznon (Help from Capiz) was launched to help the flood victims in Central Luzon.
The Provincial Government also got the support of the private sectors and the Kapisanan ng mga Broadcaster sa Pilipinas, he added.
Contreras said the people of Capiz are always willing to help in times of calamities and disasters.
“This donation will be of big help to Kapampangans, especially those in the fourth districts towns of San Simon, San Luis, Apalit, Macabebe, Masantol and Candaba, which are still underwater… We truly appreciate what they did,” Board Member Nestor Tolentino said.
