Meat processing firm shoulders construction of road

BACOLOR — The meat processing company, Pampanga’s Best, has agreed to shoulder the construction cost of a 366 linear meter road project in Barangay Cabalantian here on Thursday.
Pampanga’s Best matriarch Lolita Hizon, along with husband Angelo, formally led the groundbreaking ceremonies of the new project.
Bacolor Mayor Jose Maria Hizon told Sun.Star Pampanga that the project is a great help in the continuous development of the once lahar-ravaged town.
Mrs. Hizon said the help extended by their company is part of their pledge of support for the development of the town under the administration of Mayor Hizon.
The Hizon family had also earlier donated P4 million for the development of the municipal hall along with street lights distributed to different areas of the town.
