CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Laus Group Chairman Levy P. Laus on Monday said the huge business group that he has built over the last 33 years is a continuing partner in nation-building.
“The Laus Group is a part of our nation-building,” Laus told his top executives and officers during a meeting at the Laus Corporate Center here, which was also simultaneously video-beamed to the Laus Auto Group affiliates in Dagupan City.

Laus said the skills and values that the Laus Group employees acquire and practice impact the communities where they do business and essentially the country as well.
“Our employees’ excellence and integrity are part of our business organization’s corporate social responsibility,” Laus said, as he exhorted the officers and managers to mentor their employees towards this goal.
The Laus Group has now over 30 companies, most of them in automotive dealerships – collectively known as the LausAutoGroup – strategically located from Metro Manila to Central and North Luzon.
The LausAutoGroup has been described as the Philippines’ leading multi-brand dealership by Top Gear, a British car magazine circulated internationally.
“We are living in the present,” Laus stressed in delight as he talked to his managers in Dagupan City in an early video-conference that he said will increasingly involve more out-of-town affiliates.
Laus noted that the country’s automotive industry posted a 30 percent growth last year and projected another good year for the industry in 2011.
“I look forward to another good year for us,” he said.
