Former VM bet arrested for attempted homicide
BALANGA CITY–A former candidate for vice mayor of Pilar town was arrested in his hideout in Barangay Doña Francisca, this city, on Tuesday.
The apprehended suspect was identified as Leonardo Alfuente, 59, resident of Barangay Burgos, Pilar. Upon paying bail, he was temporarily released.
The case stemmed from the complaint of his relative, Romeo Marco whom he tried to stab during a heated argument.
He was arrested by virtue of the warrant of arrest issued by Judge Rodolfo Gatdula of the MTC Balanga City.
