15-M public market to rise in Pura

TARLAC CITY — A P15-million public market is expected to rise in Pura town this August.
The construction of a one-storey steel structure public market with rentable stalls for dry goods and shops is ongoing.
The construction began last April and is expected to be completed this August.
District Engineer Benjamin Lopez said the residents eagerly await the completion of the public market since the project will open business opportunities and spur economic growth in Pura town.
Lopez also said the project is part of the carry-over for 2010 and the delay in the construction was mainly due to the late release of funds.
