MABALACAT — A 22-year-old woman was apprehended Sunday by elements of the town police on suspicion that she is handling “shabu” (methamphetamine) in Barangay Dau here.
Police identified the suspect as Marylou Campos Fernandez of South Daang Bakal, Barangay Dau, this town.
Supt. Rolly Mendoza, town police chief, said Fernandez was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the town police against her and her live-in partner identified as Miller John Villapania Camerino.
Camerino managed to escape during the operation, Mendoza said. A confidential police asset informed the local police that two individuals were allegedly selling illegal drugs along South Daang Bakal in the said village.
Mendoza said he sent a team of cops, led by Chief Inspector Kenneth Vega, to conduct an operation against the suspects. (Reynaldo G. Navales)
