San Fernando City, First Philec Solar Corp, inducted in the Palladium Hall of Fame
MANILA, Sept. 26 (PNA) — San Fernando City in Pampanga and First Philec Solar Corporation have been inducted in the Palladium Hall of Fame, reports reaching the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) said Friday.
Pampanga is the second Philippine city to join the Palladium Balanced Scorecard for Executing Strategy Hall of Fame.
Joining the city of San Fernando is First Philec Solar Corporation (FPSC), the first private organization in the Philippines to achieve this award.
San Fernando, Pampanga and FPSC were inducted Friday during the 2010 Palladium Asia Pacific Summit held at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza.
Organizations can earn the Palladium Balanced Scorecard Hall of Fame for Executing Strategy award after they achieve the execution premium or extraordinary performance results by using the Kaplan-Norton Balanced Scorecard.
Winners are announced in the international publication Harvard Business Review and are profiled as examples of good management.
In 2009, San Fernando City was cited by the Institute for Solidarity in Asia (ISA) as a city that has attained a distinctive mark on good governance.
The distinction was given after the city of San Fernando attained a high score in the Performance Governance System (PGS), a method used to track best practices of good governance and responsible citizenship. (PNA)
