Globe, city partner for Fiestang Kuliat events

ANGELES CITY— Globe Telecoms on Friday launched its first co-sponsored event at Marquee Mall in-line with this city’s upcoming Fiestang Kuliat celebrations in October.

The affair, attended by the city’s senior citizens and other multi-sectoral groups, is a prelude to the Angeles Community Week themed “Pamilyang Abe-Abe, Mipanantabe” on October 20 to 24, also at Marquee Mall and the Youth Assembly and Youth Got Talent via TM’s “Astigan” on October 2, with guest performer Parokya ni Edgar.

According to Globe corporate social responsibility affairs head Yolanda Crisanto, the partnership with the city is the telecom’s way of assisting communities and people through projects with social value.

She added that Globe has always been in the forefront of socio-civic activities, which transcends its business confines.

For his part, City Information Office chief Archie Reyes, welcomed Globe’s partnership with the city for Fiestang Kuliat, which he described as laden with fun-filled events, projects and programs this year. (JTD)
