ANGELES CITY-The Metro Angeles Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MACCI) and the Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PamCham) members attended Monday a three-day seminar on Japanese management approach on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) at the Oasis Hotel here.
The seminar dubbed “Role of Manager for Business Growth” was designed to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs in the Philippines by improving the management capabilities of managers using the Japanese management approach.
“The Japanese management approach employs a strategy that maximizes its human resources through the development of an internal labor market, the creation of a corporate culture that promotes group values and cooperation and the implementation of an intensive socialization process for incorporating new employees into the organization,” PamCham president Rene Romero said.
The said seminar was presented through the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI). According to MACCI president Frankie Villanueva, the event features seminar on basics of management and administration of organization; staff management; management procedures; tips on being an effective manager and work management.
“The seminar was delivered by Mr. Haruyuki Takagi. We hope that this seminar gave our members a more well-rounded understanding of other management techniques,” Villanueva said, stressing that Takagi is in the best position to discuss the said seminar.
Haruyuki Takagi is a registered SME Management Consultant of the Japanese Government. He graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Science and Technology, in 1986.
