SUBJECT :Β ANNUAL DOLE LABOR STANDARDS INSPECTIONS

DATE : 28 July 2010

Please be advised that beginning August 02, 2010, the Provincial Office of the Department of Labor and Employment shall conduct its annual round of routine labor standards inspections among all operational Clark Freeport registered establishments and their corresponding contractors and subcontractors in accordance with Article 128 of P.D. 442 or the Labor Code of the Philippines as amended.

In this respect DOLE labor enforcement officers shall be visiting Clark establishments and conduct such inspection on-site as mandated. All locators are advised to make available all relevant employment records and labor-related documents in their establishments as provided by Book ill, Rule X of the Labor Code.

In addition, as mandated by DOLE D.O. 18-02, all manpower agencies, contractors and subcontractors operating within locators’ premises shall likewise undergo labor standards inspection.

As far as practicable, DOLE inspectors shall be accompanied by officers of the CDC Industrial Relations Unit (CDC-IRU), who shall witness the inspection proceedings, obtain copies of inspection findings and provide any necessary assistance to our locators.
