Korean dies in apparent suicide

ANGELES CITY – A 51-YEAR old Korean was found dead Monday in an apparent suicide, police said.

Hur Hyung Yun, apparently hanged himself in his residence at Timog Park Homes here, said City Police Director Senior Superintendent Danilo Bautista.

A note was found near the Korean’s body stating his supposed anger to Filipinos because he lost his investments and wealth here.

The victim was engaged in import and export of silver products, police said.

Yun’s body was found at around 11:30 a.m. on Monday by his friend, Jang Myoung Seong, also a Korean.

Bautista said Jang Myoung Seong rushed the victim to the Korean Hospital for possible revival but to no avail.

Police ruled out the possibility that there was a foul play in the incident. (Reynaldo G. Navales)
