This is to extend an invitation for you to participate in the BAR AND FLAIRTENDING COMPETITION to be held on September 15-17, 2010 at SM City Clark, Pampanga. The event is sponsored by the Department of Tourism, Hotels and Restaurant Association of Pampanga (HARP) and Mimosa Country Club.

The aim of the competition is to professionalize the level of service in the hospitality sector while at the same time providing an opportunity for emerging bar service providers to make a name for themselves in the national hospitality industry.

The competition is open to members of the Hotels and Restaurant Association of Pampanga (HARP) in good standing. Non-HARP members who wish to participate should file their application for membership prior to the event. Participating establishments are required to be duly accredited by the Department of Tourism (log on to www.visitmyphilippines.com for your accreditation).

Among the prizes at stake include the following: 1^st Place – P30,000; 2^nd Place – P20,000; and 3^rd Place – P10,000. Trophies and certificates of participation will be given away. Registration fee per participant is P3,000. Each establishment is allowed one (1) participant only.

In this regard, may I enjoin you and your establishment to please take advantage of this opportunity by signing up for the competition the deadline of which is on August 16, 2010.
