YATS RESTAURANT and WINE BAR is pleased to welcome a new executive chef, Chef Julius Quimpo III who starts on 1st May 2010. American Filipino Chef Julius is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University – Charleston, South Carolina USA and with an Associateโs Degree in Culinary Arts – Graduated Cum Laude 1995. Chef Julius also earned credits at The Culinary Institute of America โ Hyde Park, New York Continuing Education Culinary credits โ 2007 and Virginia State University – Petersburg, Virginia USA , Hotel and Restaurant Management Major 1986-1987
After culinary school, Chef Peter set outโฆ He worked at SODEXHO USA , The Berystede Hotel, Macdonalds Corporation – Ascot, UK ; Holiday Inn Select, Richmond, Virginia USA; Maki-Maki Restaurant, Glendale and Irvine, California. USA ; The Whitehall Restaurant, Williamsburg, Virginia. USA; Shacklefordโs Restaurant , Williamsburg, Virginia. USA.
