The whole neighborhood is full of them. They could be seen everywhere and I totally accede to their presence because I admire some gay people. I envy them actually. The fact that they could easily reveal their emotions without reservation is a very courageous act of being committed to yourself. Their feisty and fearless characteristics make them the governess of their own world. Whenever I am with gay persons, I see him/her with dreams and goals just like everyone else. Their sexual orientation and preference might be different from us and yet, as a human being, they are also prone to vulnerability. They cry when in pain and rejoice even in a slightest touch of success.
A world without gay people is a colorless place to live in. Their presence makes the society far more interesting and fascinating to deal with. Their proliferation signifies their total invasion in our society.
Gay men and women soar high in the entertainment industry. Some adopt a different course and manage to excel in their field of chosen careers. Rumor has it that even in politics, gay men and women are in total control of their constituents. Gay people have become world-famous fashion designers, make-up artists, journalists, photographers, doctors, engineers, and other enriching careers.
Gay men, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders (LBGT) openly express their desire to be acknowledged, to gain absolute respect and they clamor to be treated equally. Many of us are not aware of their experiences and struggles in their lives and that is the logical reason of not condemning or discriminating them for their outlandish appearances.
Some gay people face total rejection from their families. Some gay people remain behind the curtain because of fear and embarrassment. Others are fortunate enough to be accepted and feel the love of their families.
I know a lot of gay people who made a mark in our society. Ricky Reyes aka โMama Rickyโ is a self made man, famous for his โGandang Ricky Reyesโ show which helps a lot of aspiring hairdressers and his philanthropic contribution to the society made him the mother of all.
Boy Abunda, the poor boy from Borongan, Eastern Samar, is a successful TV host and product endorser.
Danton Romero, a poet, published author and a professor in Ateneo de Manila. He is also a political activist fighting for the rights of the gay community.

As for us ordinary people, we are attracted to their bizarre way of expressing themselves to the society. From the flamboyant cross dresser men to the conservative and manly dressed women, we find the enthrallment quite interesting and comical.
The phenomenal increase of gay people does not alarm me. I could not get enough of their lively shenanigans. I see a positive vibe. I feel relaxed and sometimes I unleash the gay persona inside of me when I am with them.
