1 hurt in hold-up incident in Olongapo
OLONGAPO City: A driver was shot in the neck but was able to take himself to the hospital after a robbery hold-up try in Barangay Mabayuan, Olongapo City Monday evening.
According to a police report the robbery hold-up occurred around 8:45pm along Otero Ave in Barangay Mabayuan.
The suspect which has yet to be identified by authorities pulled out a gun and declared hold-up and took the bag of 2 victims identified as Solly Rayang and Rose Focbit.
The driver of the jeepney with Body No. J03-018 and Plate No. CWA 400 identified as Noel Ulanday saw the commotion and stopped the jeep and tried to intervene but was shot by the suspect in the neck.
The suspect fled the scene with another suspect riding a motorcycle and escaped.
The suspect manage to take P1,300 and a mobile phone.
