Teenager stabbed dead

ANGELES CITY — A 19-year-old man was stabbed to death by one of the persons who allegedly mauled him along Plaridel Street in Barangay San Nicolas here Sunday night.
Kaycee Policarpio, 19, single, of No. 125 Mabini Street, San Nicolas, succumbed to a single stab wound on his left chest, said Chief Inspector Rene Aspe, Police Station 1 commander.
Policarpioโ€™s friends told police investigators that at least five persons assaulted the victim.
Aspe said Policarpio was spotted by friends while having an argument with five men along the said street.
โ€œThe victim went alone in the corner of Plaridel Street. Thereat, five male persons in black shirts surrounded the victim and afterwards a melee ensued. Soon, the victim run towards the direction of Angeles Appliances and Home Furnishing also at Plaridel Street but was chased by the five suspects,โ€ the police report stated.
One of the suspects in black shirt stabbed the victim on the chest. Policarpio was rushed to the hospital but physicians failed to revive him, the official said.
During a hot pursuit operation, police officers were able to arrest five minors believed to be responsible in the stabbing.
The arrested suspects include Marvin (not his real name), 16; Wilson (not his real name), 16; Arjay (not his real name), 15; Paul (not his real name), 17; and Sam (not his real name), 16.
The five minors were charged with murder but the city police referred their case to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
Aspe said the suspects will be placed under the social welfareโ€™s custody.
