Technology experts offer to develop website on migratory birds

CANDABA – A group of local information technology experts had signified willingness to help the Municipal Government showcase migratory birds by developing a website.
Engineer Joliber Mapiles, a graduate of the Mapua Institute of Technology and a former programmer of a multi-national information technology company in Makati City, said this town is prominent for its migratory birds but misses the opportunity to get online sustainable existence for lack of official website solely dedicated for the purpose.
He said although some information is already available and scattered on various sites, the need to create a distinct website arises to get even branded online insofar as the migratory birds are concerned.
“Malaking tulong lalo na sa mga banyaga na mahilig sa mga ibon na gustong pumasyal sa ating bansa, partikular sa ating bayan ang pagkakaroon ng website dahil dito sila makakakuha ng advance information sa mga species, brief history, culture at maging dos and don’ts sa bird watching,” Mapiles said.
He is also the founder and administrator as various websites such as http://www.mapiles.com (free classifieds in the Philippines); http://www.peratoday.com (online money center involving credit and bank transactions); http://www.mapilescondo.com (the Philippine’s Premium Condo Finder Online); http://ebrandinnovations.com (a digital marketing company, providing aid on design and marketing solutions), among others.
Recently, the members of the Candaba Bloggers headed by Dean Mark Zoleta also vowed to support this town should it decide to develop a website on migratory birds.
“Napag usapan na namin yan, at nakahanda kaming tumulong kung kinakailangan,” he said.
Zoleta added that some of the Candaba Bloggers are good in search engine optimization and could be an edge to top all migratory birds-related online searches in the future. (Herbert P. Mapiles)
