The much anticipated second Philippine International Cricket Sixes will be taking place from 20th-22nd February 2009 at The Parade Ground, Clark Field, Pampanga.

We encourage you to download the Information Pack and complete your bookings as soon as possible. The Information Pack includes the Team Entry Form and the Hotels Booking Form.
This year we have two official hotels, the Angeles Beach Club Hotel (โABCโ) and the Holiday Inn. Rooms at the ABC are strictly limited and will be available on a โfirst come, first servedโ basis. These hotels are giving excellent support to the tournament and it is one of our requirements that all players do stay in an official hotel.
Any questions that you have should be addressed with the Event Manager, Raquel Romero, whose contact details are in the Info Pack.
We are delighted to announce that Jack Richards (former England and Surrey wicket-keeper) has once again agreed to join us for what promises to be an excellent weekend.
The Philippine International Cricket Sixes is organised by Nomads Sports Club and the Asian Cricket Sixes Tour (ACST).
Cricket has been played in the Philippines since the founding of the legendary Nomad Sports Club in 1914 and continues to thrive to this very day. Nomads remains the home of Philippine cricket and, without the support of the Club, this tournament would simply not be possible.
The Sixes tournament, however, will not take place in Manila itself; we have secured the use of the former military parade ground in Clark Freeport, Pampanga โ approximately 60โ90 minuteโs drive north of the capital.
The tournament venue will provide two excellent cricket ovals that are a couple of minuteโs walk from one of the tournament hotels โ The Holiday Inn Clark, which in itself is a first rate facility.
This year we have a second official hotel โ the Angeles Beach Club Hotel (โABCโ). The ABC Hotel is situated in the middle of the Angeles entertainment area and is a few minutes walk away from all the major destination and hot spots in Angeles, including the various restaurants and nigh clubs of Balibago. Rooms at the ABC are strictly limited and will be available on a โfirst come, first servedโ basis.
These two hotels are giving excellent support to the tournament and it is one of our entry requirements that all teams must stay in an official hotel.
You will find that the range of activities available to you, besides cricket, is suitably impressive with a variety of bars and restaurants at night and some challenging golf courses by day. For the adventurous, there is also the opportunity to climb the nearby Mt Pinatubo, an active volcano that last erupted back in 1991.
One of the key factors in choosing Clark as the venue for our tournament is the accessibility through the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport, which is located within the Freeport and no more than a ten-minute ride to the Holiday Inn. The airport is served by a number of budget carriers from around Asia, allowing teams to make a cheap and easy trip into the Philippines.
We have had expressions of interest from not just the region, but around the world. We are placing a restriction on the number of Philippines-based teams that will be allowed to enter to ensure that we have a genuinely international flavour. Find out how to enter the tournament.
This really is a pinnacle in cricketing development in the Philippines and there is a lot of excitement in the local sporting community about the Sixes tournament. The Manila Nomads, who many of you will have met on tour around the region, have guaranteed to enter a highly-competitive team and have thrown down the gauntlet to all-comers.
The ACST and Bill Bailey, who through Nomads Cricket has run cricket in the Philippines for the last six years, extends an invitation to teams from around the world to enter what promises to be one of the best social cricket tournaments in Asia. Once you visit this idyllic archipelago of 7,107 islands that is the Philippines, you will be hooked!
