Golf: Green fees for 4 (weekdays and non-holidays) rounds of golf per month on one of the nearby courses; more can be arranged through Clearwater concierge and green fees are not included
Work: A part-time consultant job is included in this package but retiree may forgo voluntarily at his/her own discretion. Pay is at local rates – from US$250 to 500 per month and the nature of the job depends on the expertise and physical capabilities.
Visa: Yats will provide legal assistance for retiree to process their Clark retirement visa
Getting around: A 4-seater golf-cart can be purchased for US$5,000
Setting up a business in Clark Philippines
The best way to start your business here in Clark Freeport is to piggy-back on an existing business, a locator – that’s what they call businesses that are “located” in Clark. First, find a business that has excess land to sublease or assign or allow your business to dwell in. Once you do that, the rest is all downhill and nothing will stop you from enjoying all the best that this country can offer.
Getting to know people in Clark Philippines
If you are wondering how you can meet up with friendly businessmen in Clark Freeport, that’s not half as difficult as you might think. There are a few “in” places you can visit and before you know it, you’d be meeting up with local business leaders. This is not a very large community, just 130 or so active businesses. It won’t take very long for you to know all the who’s-who.
First place you want to visit is the town’s fine-dining restaurant where all the businessmen wine and dine. The place is called Yats Restaurant and Wine Bar. Right next to it is the London Pub, an English styled pub, quite cozy, not like the girlie joints out in Angeles. Both are located inside Mimosa Leisure Estate. Clearwater Resort and Country Club is about 5 minutes down the road from Mimosa.

Getting there is quite simple: after entering Clark Freeport from Dau and Angeles City, proceed straight along the main highway MA Roxas, passing the stand-along wine shop called Clark Wine Center on your right, continue to bear right making no turns at all, go past Mimosa Leisure Estate on the opposite side of the road, you will hit a major intersection. Go straight and the road becomes Creekside Road. YATS Clearwater Resort and Country Club is on your right just 200m down.
