Man arrested for grave threat

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO β A man was arrested by police operatives here for threatening a businessman inside a videoke bar at Villa Isabel in Barangay Calulut here over the weekend.
Police reports said that while inside the Eldrin Videoke Bar in the said barangay, suspect Ricardo Lising, 44, threatened Jerry Medina Sr., 52, a businessman and a resident of B-6 L-4, Sunlightview Subd., Barangay Sindalan this city.
Reports said that around 12:20 a.m., the victim and the suspect, together with their friends, were having a drinking spree at the said establishment prior to the incident.
Police said the suspect left the place and returned later with a cal. 45 pistol. For no apparent reason, police said the suspect poked the said gun at the victim and threatened to shoot the latter.
During the commotion, their friends sought police assistance.
Police operatives immediately responded and arrested the suspect and his gun confiscated.
Cases of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition and grave threats were filed against the suspect at the Office of the City Prosecutor. The suspect is currently in jail.
