Philippines Clark How to Relax and Unwind After A Very Stressful Day
April 12, 2011
Stress is a killer and it causes many medical problems so unwinding after work or on your days off should always be looked at attentively.
Instructions
1 I enjoy computers as I am sure most of the people reading this do and playing games, doing graphics or even writing short stories can be a stress reliever to some. However if you work on computers in your job on a daily basis than I’m sure looking at another computer screen is not for you.
2 Reading books is great but I like magazines and I like reading gossip mags on my back porch while sipping on some tea. Reading magazines, books or even watching movies is great because it can take you places without you realizing it.
3 My kids would say unwinding by talking on the phone with friends or playing games on the Playstation gives them relaxation however playing games on Xbox or Playstation makes me a bundle of nerves but the phone calls to my mom seem to help me relax.
4 Going to a gym or simple walking is a good relaxation technique. I prefer the walking by myself thing over the crowded gym because I can’t block out the other people easily.
5 Cooking also helps me relax and when it is done everyone gets to eat which is two fold in my book.
6 Soaking in a hot tub or relaxing in a sauna not only relaxes the mind but muscles.
7 Basically any avenue that provides you an outlet that you both enjoy and brings you to another place while concentrating on doing it is a great stress reliever. Just remember one thing stress can make you physically ill if you don’t take the time to relax. Try to enjoy life more and you will feel better.
