Rehab of Sto. Tomas school completed

Source: STO.TOMAS – The Provincial Government of Pampanga with the local government unit (LGU) has completed the rehabilitation, upgrading, and beautification of the Sapa Elementary School (SES).
Gloria Diala, school principal, presented on Monday a certificate of appreciation to Mayor Lito Naguit and will also present a similar certificate to Governor Lilia Pineda.
Diala cited Naguit and Pineda for their genuine efforts to beautify SES by building classrooms, putting up a faรงade and upgrading the school surroundings, landscaping, building pathways in the front lawn, and beautifying the sidewalks along the front road.
The SES, which has 498 students, houses 14 classrooms, three of which have undergone total renovation and rehabilitation.
Naguit said Pineda has allotted some P2 million for the rehabilitation of the SES, adding that other expenses were shouldered by the LGU.
Naguit said among his top priority projects is education, including the giving of scholarship grants, construction, and rehabilitation of public elementary and high schools in the seven barangays here. (Chris Navarro)
