Med supplies distributed to villages

GUAGUA โ€” Second District Board Member Fritzie David-Dizon on Monday started a series of medical supplies distribution in various villages here to strengthen community health at the grassroots level.

David-Dizon, who distributed multi-vitamins, antibiotics and childrenโ€™s medicines to Barangay San Isidro here, said she has taken the advocacy of promoting community healthcare for the development of province.

โ€œHealthcare has always been the advocacy of my late mother. I find healthcare as an essential part of community development,โ€ David-Dizon said, urging the local officials of the barangay to strengthen their healthcare program for local residents.

She said she will be continuously supporting the stockpiling of needed medicines for various barangays, an initiative started by her mother, the late Board Member Edna David.

David-Dizon is also set to distribute medicines to other barangays here in the coming weeks.
