CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Third district Representative Aurelio Gonzales Jr. challenged graduates of the Northville Integrated School in Barangay Calulut here to aim for success and improve their standard of living.
Gonzales, who was guest of honor and speaker at the commencement exercises held at the San Vicente Parish Church, said he expects a lot from graduates of the Northville 14, particularly in their desire to step out of the shadows of poverty.
“I challenge each and every one of you to continue your pursuit to finish your studies and have stable jobs. You need to believe in yourself to accomplish this. I for one will help you through scholarships, the rest is up to you,” Gonzales said.
Students from Northville 14 come from poor families. Only half of those who graduated from elementary are expected to reach high school due to economic reasons and less than a handful are expected to pursue college degrees.
Gonzales said he has instructed his staff to give due attention to Northville students who would like to pursue their education and finish college degrees.
He said people who have college degrees have greater chances of getting good employment.
“Also, I urge you to continue your studies to high school and college. If you have education, people will not be able to cheat you or step on your rights,” Gonzales said.
He said he will continuously support development programs for Northville Integrated School, just the like the planned construction of school buildings and improvements in cooperation with the National Housing Authority. Some P15 million have been approved for the planned developments through the help of Gonzales.
Gonzales also facilitated the awarding of medals and certificates to the honor graduates and achievers of the school.

There are numerous opportunities for investments between US$100,000 and $500,000. These opportunities are especially attractive for semi-retirement lifestyles. The best, easiest and safest way to go about with this kind of investments is to deal with an existing business β a locator as business in Clark is called β so the investor is spared of the hassle of dealing with red-tape and bureaucracy that is always present in third-world countries. The existing locator has already cleared the path so to speak and even if it means asking for small premium for a partnership, it is very much worth the while of a new investor to take this route. Business opportunities depend largely on the skills, interests and experiences of the investors but there is a strong demand for more establishments in these areas: entertainment, shops, office space, construction and engineering services, restaurants and bars, transportation and travel assistance.
