Luzon realtors hold housing confab in Clark today
CLARK FREEPORT–More than 250 real estate practitioners from Luzon will gather for a whole-day Luzon Housing Summit today in this Freeport to find solutions that will ensure sustainability and enhance further growth and performance of the housing sector.
Organized by the Chamber of Real Estate and Builders’ Association Incorporated (CREBA), it will feature modules on land titles and access via Land Registration Authority and Registry of Deeds, Housing Finance and Receivables Financing thru Home Development Mutual Fund or Pag-IBIG Fund, Regulations and Standards of the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board, and Permits and Licenses implemented by the local government units.
Louie Reyes, CREBA Angeles City president, said the summit is designed to update real estate practitioners and raise the level of awareness and participation of local stakeholders and developers on genuine issues on the ground.
“Stakeholders will have the chance to present their experiences and other concerns followed by a response from the speakers. Basically, it’s a developing discussion,” he added.
Expected to grace the program are Governor Lilia Pineda, First District Congressman Joseller Guiao, Third District Congressman Oscar Rodriguez, Angeles City Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan, Mabalacat City Mayor Marino Morales, and Clark Development Corporation President Arthur Tugade.
CREBA members from Pampanga, Angeles City, Baguio City, Bataan, Bulacan, La Union, Laguna, Nueva Ecija, Palawan, Tarlac, Manila, and Pangasinan are among the participants.
This will be held at Hotel Stotsenberg from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
A similar summit will also be conducted in Visayas on August 9 at Pavillion Hotel, Bacolod City, and in Mindanao on August 23 at Grand Men Seng Hotel, Davao City.
CREBA is a private non-stock, non-profit organization and is the recognized umbrella organization of some 4,000 firms, individuals and associations directly or indirectly involved in land and housing, construction, allied industries and various professional fields of discipline.
It has more than 32 chapters nationwide and seven overseas.
