Depressed man tries to jump from resto roof
Superintendent Rodney Raymond Louie J. Baloyo IV, town police chief, charged Zarsuela with Alarm and Scandal before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor Monday.
Bystanders spotted Zarsuela at the top of the establishment at around 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The suspect’s cellphone fell and policemen were able to contact his father and wife.
Zarsuela’s father, accompanied with rescuers, went to get him using the aerial ladder of the fire truck of the Clark Development Corporation.
After almost five hours, rescuers were able to bring down Zarsuela safe, said Inspector Jesus Dungca, Dau police commander.
Zarsuela is now detained at the Mabalacat Police Station. A P2,000 bail was recommended.
