(1) Morning guests wish to stay on until the end: they can purchase an extra trip ticket for php200 and board the jeepney shuttle service at 6pm. This must be reserved when the package tour ticket is purchased.

(2) Afternoon guests wish to go to popular London Pub in Mimosa after closing to enjoy the evening some more: by special request and advanced notice, the jeepney shuttle service can make a detour to drop them off at London Pub en route to Angeles. Please note that guests will have make separate arrangements for their rides back home since the shuttle will not be available after that.

(3) Guests who have their own transportation can just get their package confirmation and admission ticket in advance. There is no discount or refund for guests not availing of the shuttle service.

Senator: Representation issue must be resolved before voting on next CJ

MANILA — Halfway through the selection of the next Chief Justice, an administration lawmaker urged the Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) to wait for the Supreme Court to finally resolve the issue on who should sit in the screening body from Congress.
“Without the participation of the legislature it would cast a cloud of doubt on the validity of the entire proceeding. This must be avoided at all costs, considering no less than the position of Chief Justice is at stake here,” Senator Francis Pangilinan said.
Congress decided to pull out from the process last Friday after it refused to follow the resolution by the SC mandating only one representative/vote in the JBC instead of two, which has been practiced since 2001.
A motion for reconsideration is still pending with the High Court as the JBC set on Thursday its final deliberation on the 20 candidates before coming up with a shortlist of nominees to be submitted to President Benigno Aquino III.
In its appeal last week, Congress stated that the House of Representatives cannot represent the Senate because the latter has distinct constituency, and vice versa.
“Indeed limiting the representative of Congress in the JBC to either Senator (Francis) Escudero or Congressman (Niel) Tupas would be incongruous to the bicameral nature of Congress,” the motion read.
Meantime, Senate Minority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano said the debate on who should succeed ousted Renato Corona is not matter of choosing an incumbent Supreme Court justice or an outsider.
“It’s really a matter of who’s best for the job. It’s more of who’s the perfect man or woman for the job,” he said.
The senator said both options have their advantages.
He said the insiders already have the experience and they know the people and the process while outsiders can bring in fresh perspective to tackle problems of the judiciary like clogged dockets and corruption.
Cayetano also suggested that a formal set of criteria for the Chief Justice nomination process be crafted for future use.

This package is not applicable to corporate functions and events. To qualify for this special package, at least 30% of the participants must be children aged 12 or below.
