Setting up a business in Clark Philippines is an arduous exercise fraught with frustrating hurdles and landmines enough to deter all but the most determined. But when you step back and think about it, investors are bringing in much needed foreign capital to develop properties that desperately need developing and creating much needed jobs for the local communities. But the government always makes it difficult for good things to happen in this country. Alas, isn’t that a common scenario among third-world countries?
Cutting to the chase, if you have a legitimate business that can capitalize on the virtues that Clark Freeport has to offer then you should not let a few bureaucrats stop you from establishing your business here. Clark Freeport is rich with business advantages that can give your corporation a competitive edge, big time. Where else can you physically locate a business within minutes of an international airport? Your business pays 5% corporate tax! Clark Freeport is rid of the single biggest problem plaguing the business community other than corruption – law and order. Crime rate here is practically zero which is the exact opposite of what’s going on just over the wall and in major cities like Manila and Cebu.
Enough of the good news, let’s get on with business. The best way to start your business here in Clark Freeport is to piggy-back on an existing business, a locator – that’s what they call businesses that are “located” in Clark. First, find a business that has excess land to sublease or assign or allow your business to dwell in. Once you do that, the rest is all downhill and nothing will stop you from enjoying all the best that this country can offer.
If you are wondering how you can meet up with friendly businessmen in Clark Freeport, that’s not half as difficult as you might think. There are a few “in” places you can visit and before you know it, you’d be meeting up with local business leaders. This is not a very large community, just 130 or so active businesses. It won’t take very long for you to know all the who’s-who.
First place you want to visit is the town’s fine-dining restaurant where all the businessmen wine and dine. The place is called Yats Restaurant and Wine Bar. Right next to it is the London Pub, an English styled pub, quite cozy, not like the girlie joints out in Angeles. Both are located inside Mimosa Leisure Estate. Clearwater Resort and Country Club is about 5 minutes down the road from Mimosa.
Getting there
How to get to this fine-dining restaurant in Clark Philippines? Once you get to Clark Freeport, go straight until you hit Mimosa. After you enter Mimosa, stay on the left on Mimosa Drive, go past the Holiday Inn and YATS Restaurant (green top, independent 1-storey structure) is on your left. Just past the YATS Restaurant is the London Pub.
