CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — A delegation from Bukidnon, during the Provincial Board’s regular session on Tuesday at the Capitol, lauded Pampanga province’s top income generator quarry practices.
The Bukidnon delegation was led by Board Members Alfeo Baguio, chair of the environment committee and Ranulfo Pepito, chair of the committee on appropriations and ways and means.
The delegation had just finished benchmarking the best practices of the quarry industry here, particularly on collection that is now on the average of P20 million per month.
A tour and presentation was conducted for the team by Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office Art Punsalan.
Bukidnon, the lawmakers said, has a similar big quarry potential, but has been untapped, unlike in Pampanga where much of the strategies had been institutionalized.
“Thank you so much for sharing with us the strategies. We were surprised that your one-day collection is already our one-year collection,” Pepito said.
He narrated that Bukidnon Governor Alex Kalingasan sent them to the province for the benchmarking tour to boost their local quarry industry.
Baguio, meanwhile, thanked the Provincial Board and Governor Pineda for what he termed as sincere and warm Pampanga hospitality.

There are numerous opportunities for investments between US$100,000 and $500,000. These opportunities are especially attractive for semi-retirement lifestyles. The best, easiest and safest way to go about with this kind of investments is to deal with an existing business β a locator as business in Clark is called β so the investor is spared of the hassle of dealing with red-tape and bureaucracy that is always present in third-world countries. The existing locator has already cleared the path so to speak and even if it means asking for small premium for a partnership, it is very much worth the while of a new investor to take this route. Business opportunities depend largely on the skills, interests and experiences of the investors but there is a strong demand for more establishments in these areas: entertainment, shops, office space, construction and engineering services, restaurants and bars, transportation and travel assistance.
Clark Freeport is one of the most attractive business propositions the Philippines has to offer for investors in many kinds of businesses from BPO, hospitality, resorts and leisure facilities to condos, retirement homes, restaurants, bars and shops.
